OrganisationsFor children and young people.The Sunday Club, for all young people, meets at 10.45 and finishes around 12.30. There are Creche facilities every week – ask the member of the Welcome Team at the door for details. The Youth Group meets in the Church Lounge every Sunday evening at 8p.m. All young people at High School are welcome. They have regular games nights on week nights. There is an annual away week-end at Aviemore when about 25 teen-agers enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. ‘Storykeepers’ this is a group that meets periodically for young people to prepare musical and dramatic presentations of the faith. The Holiday Club - this is held each summer during the last week of the school holidays. There are normally around 150 Primary school pupils taking part. There is now a senior section to this. It is for High School pupils and around 60 young people are involved. Pulteneytown Panthers Football Club periodically organises games for young people in the congregation. At the end of the Holiday Club the Youth Group challenge their ‘seniors’ to a match. This is always closely contested. For details tel. Martin McDonald 60 6612. For the not-so-youngA branch of THE GUILD meets throughout the winter on alternate Tuesday evenings. A very varied programme is arranged each year. In addition the members are active in a wide range of activities in the church. President Mrs. Mina Sutherland tel.:604041. The GOLDEN YEARS Group. This group meets on alternate Wednesday afternoons. Members informally meet round tables for tea. A varied programme of events is presented through the year.
