We value our worship services each Sunday, but there is much more that you can get involved in throughout the week. All the groups listed below are open to everyone in the community. Select the appropriate age tab to find out more. You will be made welcome whether you come to all meetings or just one. Please get in touch if you wish to know more about any of the groups. New members are always welcome.
For children, young people and families
Lightly Salted
A monthly celebration for families on the first Saturday morning of each month, 11am-12:30pm. Join us for crafts, fun and food at Pulteneytown Church. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Holiday Club
This is held each summer during the last week of the school holidays for primary school children. A large team of helpers co-ordinate talks, activities, drama and outings for children in the parish and beyond. The week concludes with a special holiday club celebration on Sunday evening, where parents and friends can see all that has been going on during the week!
For adults
The Guild
A branch of THE GUILD meets throughout the autumn and winter (Sept - March) on alternate Tuesday afternoons. A varied programme is arranged each year. In addition, the members are active in a wide range of activities in the church. At one time, this was called the Women's Guild, but now there is no discrimination: men and women are both equally welcome.
Ladies Bible Study
Fortnightly on Tuesday evenings, a group of women meet together to study the Bible, share fellowship and pray together.
The Forge
Church Cafe
Open to all on Wednesdays between 10am - 12pm. Come along for some company, a cuppa and some chat!
Midweek meeting - Growing Together
This is an opportunity for us to meet together for fellowship, encourage each other in our faith, and pray for God’s help in the work of the church and for each other. Growing Together takes place on alternate Wednesday evenings - meeting in the church lounge upstairs which is accessible from the side door on the east side of the building.
Knit and Natter
This group meets weekly during the winter months for knitting, sewing and handcrafts as well as catching up with the latest news.
Please get in touch if you wish to know more about any of the groups. Come along - We'd love to see you!
